วาดใบไม้ให้ทับซ้อนกันหลายชั้นจนแน่น ใบใหญ่สีม่วงตัดกับเขียวสด มีดอกชมพูแซมเป็นจุด ๆ แล้ววางนกแก้วเด่นอยู่กลางพุ่ม ตัวนกลงสีจัด ทั้งเหลือง น้ำเงิน ส้ม ตัดกับใบไม้รอบตัว วาดด้วยสีน้ำให้สีซึมเข้าหากันนิด ๆ ไม่มีขอบคม ทุกอย่างเลยดูกลมกลืนเป็นผืนเดียว

CANOPY is the top layer of the forest, where the leaves grow so thick you can barely see the sky. We drew the leaves overlapping in dense layers — large purple ones against fresh green, with pink flowers dotted through. A parrot sits front and center in the growth, painted in bold yellow, blue, and orange that stand out against the leaves around it. Done in watercolor so the colors bleed into each other with no hard edges, letting it all blend into one piece.
