HONU means sea turtle in Hawaiian. We drew it in a botanical illustration style — the shell in soft pink scales, the head and legs in brick orange with a dotted texture. It swims through an underwater garden of bright green coral, purple seaweed, and yellow starfish. What sets this one apart is the open white background, left unpainted, like clear water you can see straight through. It keeps everything bright and easy on the eyes, with the turtle as the star.
