NIMBUS is Latin for cloud. We drew the clouds as loose, hand-sketched shapes in chalk. The texture is built from fine hatched lines instead of solid fill, so it reads like real chalk on paper. Two shades of blue alternate — light and dark — to give each cloud a different weight. Set on a cream base with plenty of open space, because the emptiness is part of the design, like looking at a real sky where the clouds sit apart.
